He was raised in Tampa, FL. and graduated from high school earning the esteemed International Baccalaureate Degree. Attending the University of Miami, FL on scholarship, he earned a Bachelorâ??s of Science in Neuroscience with minors in Chemistry and Business Administration. He earned his Medical Degree from The Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (Chicago, IL). Dr. Katzman then completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital (Park Ridge, IL) where he was awarded the coveted â??Intern of the Yearâ??.

        Since my first visit with Dr. Katzman I felt comfortable , he showed he really cared about me as a patient and was interest in helping me to establish a correct health to my vision. he showed empathy and that he really cared about the patient he had in front of him

        Dr. Katzman met my high expectations for my cataract surgeries.

        Nice, friendly office and medical staff. Dr. Katzman made me feel confident and less afraid of the procedures. I asked hard questions too. I would recommend Dr. Katzman and the surgery center in Del Mar.

        Best decision I ever made! I was really nervous about having eye surgery but the whole experience has been really positive. Dr. Katzman and his staff are all really helpful and kind.
