My air conditioner went out today it's a weekend, my husband is ill and would really start to suffer if we didn't get it fixed soon. Holmes sent somebody out promptly, and Travis got it up and going again, even though it's an older unit. I am thanking God for them right now.

I called Holmes Air one day when I was referred to them by a neighbor they had a young man Come by and he was very polite he told me that my condenser had a small part

Go out it took him about 45 min to change it and about $200 he then checked the filters and made sure everything else looked good NY overall experience is very good and I would definitely refer them if anyone asks.Earkier that day I had another company to come and service the unit after it had broken and they insisted that the condenser need ed to be changed and quoted me the price for a new unit then after brewing about how I felt like I was getting ripped off I asked a neighbor that had a ac repair done a week ago and they refferwd me to Holmes Air

Holmes Air Conditioning has VERY poor customer service. I do not recommend their services. I purchased a brand new house that this company installed the HVAC system my inspector pointed out:

“The routing of the sections of the return air and supply ductwork is less than

ideal in various areas . This should be repaired for improved operation and

efficiency. Refer to the flexible duct industries installation guide lines at the

following link; http://www.flexibleduct.org/images/ADC~IR5E.pdf A qualified

heating and cooling technician should be consulted to further evaluate these

conditions and the remedies available for correction.”

I closed on my house on 4/29/13 and mentioned to the builder multiple times that the ac unit did not seem to cool the house and was always running despite keeping the thermostat set on 78. My first electric bill came for 28 days in my brand new one story 1,600 square foot home and was $178. I called my energy supplier and was told I was using an unusual amount of electricity. I had Holmes come check the unit and they made some “adjustments and added Freon.”

I left town for a several days and returned and discovered the house was even hotter. I called Holmes again on a Friday and 2 very young men came early Friday afternoon and told me the unit was defective. I asked if it would be replaced today or tomorrow. The young men said it’s under warranty we need to call the company it will be sometime next week, we don’t work on the weekend. I called the office and had the woman that answers the phone tell me that’s how it is.

Around 4:30 Monday the young man arrived to replace my entire unit but he had to return to the warehouse because the unit he had was dented. I asked if Rheem paid any of my unusually high electric bill and he replied,” it’s not their fault.” I asked whose fault was it and he said mine because I bought this house! So there you have it folks Holmes’s Air Conditioning and their exceptional customer service!

Holmes AC is awesome! I have been simmering in my house for days and another ac company told me I needed to replace a unit I bought from them just 2 yrs ago! 1 15 min attic inspection, 30 min in his truck and $100 later this guy tells me the product is no good and I need to switch brands for $3000 plus labor. clearly upset I began searching for 2nd opinions. Holmes was recommended to me by Mac plumbing, also in La Marque. I called and spoke with Alicia who was so sweet and caring. I had made another appointment with someone else for that day but told her I would call back tomorrow if no luck. after being stood up by that company I called Alicia back the next day. Jared and his partner showed up promptly. They were both polite and professional. They took their time and did a thorough inspection of both attic and outside units. Jared explained to me that he found no fault with either one but simply a loose cap and a subsequent Freon leak. the cap was tightened, Freon charged and my house was cold in no time! Thank you Holmes Air Conditioning! I will use them for all of my AC needs
