SEVERE PRICE GOUGING - Called Prince on a Saturday morning during a heat wave as our air conditioning stopped cooling. I googled and saw 4-star reviews, saw he was close. He showed up took the part (run capacitor) out then gave me a price of $450 + $180 because he came out. I asked him why so high and he said the labor. I thought about calling another HVAC specialist but I would already have to pay him $180 for coming out and I had my 4 yr-olds in the house which was now at 90 degrees. I assumed he may have to do more than plug in a new part and accepted. He merely plugged in a new part and was done in 10 minutes.

My sister had a run capacitor replaced on the same day and her bill was $154 total. I called a few other HVAC companies and was told $300 on the high end and $180 on the low-end. I initially sent a text to Prince to ask why he over-charged and if he could refund something - anything to make it right. He did not respond until I sent another text telling him I had called other HVAC companies; he basically said him overcharging me was my fault for accepting and something about Google charging him too much to get his company near the top of the search.

He has control of his arbitrary pricing. I was assuming I would pay more - around $300 total, given the demand and the circumstances but more than double that? There is no need to rip consumers off to this degree. COMPLETE LACK OF ETHICS - DO NOT CALL ICE BEAR INC.
