HotSpot Hotel & Lounge

I have gone to and worked at the HotSpot Hotel (previously the Homestead) for many years....through those years it has continually improved. Back in the days with Becky and Tuff it was Great..today with Terry and Ray it is great. Our world has changed a lot as has the bar business..with drugs running rampid..people unemployed etc. things have definitely changed, but I just don't like those thatcriticize any bar for drugs/fights etc..ESPECIALLY when the owners do everything humanly possible to not have these things going on in their bars or on there property. I can speak for my bosses because they have done nothing BUT IMPROVE things at the HotSpot to make it a place to go for a couple cold ones, have dinner with friends, shoot pool/darts, relax and watch a football game... It is a great place and they have awesome food..so give it a try...

The HotSpot(formerly the Vernon and Homestead is a decent place to go. During the day regular customers come and go. Night time is filled with customers and music from a DJ. Their diningroom is excellent..very good food(may I recommend the fish or wings)This bar gets a bad rep from some..but contrary to those who bad mouth it, it is a nice place to go to have fun,eat a meal, or just stop to have a cold one!!!!Terry and Ray have done so much improvement in the bar/diningrooms and the rooms for rent upstairs.They are great people and enjoy seeing happy, satisfied customers coming and going and try hard to keep trouble away. If you want a good time out try the HotSpot Hotel...you won't regret it...
