About The company has provided land surveying and land development services to the North Bay area since 1997. The office is centrally located in the Kenwood Plaza to serve Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Solano, Lake and Mendocino counties. Our mission To provide quality services that exceed the expectations of our clients in a practical, efficient, cost effective manner. We pride ourselves on our ability to develop innovative solutions for a wide range of challenging land surveying and land development projects. Our highly trained, dedicated staff listens to our clients and uses the expertise and creativity gained through years of service to achieve their goals. Our main objective is to tailor our service to fit the client 's needs. We specialize in land development related surveying products. Some of the survey products we offer are boundary surveys, topographic mapping, aerial topography, construction staking, G.I.S. base mapping, lot line adjustments and vineyard mapping. We also provide services for site grading and engineering, individual sewage disposal system designs, and land development services through our network of qualified sub-consultants. Michael Ford, Inc Land Surveying was established in 1997 ( formerly Hogan-Ford Land Surveying ). Prior to opening his own company Mr. Ford had over 25 years experience working for various land surveying and civil engineering companies in the north San Francisco Bay area. During his career he has gained a wide variety of experience and knowledge. His has a background in design surveys for residential commercial developments and providing route surveys for utilities, road rights-of-way and the survey products required by real estate-land development industries. Although Mr. Ford was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, he has spent the majority of his professional career in Northern California. Mr. Ford served in the armed services with the U.S. Navy Sea Bees after graduating from college in 1969. He completed one tour of duty in Viet Nam during 1971 and was honorably discharged in early 1972. He and his wife lived in Savannah for four years before moving to the north San Francisco bay area in 1976. Together they have raised a family of two children, have been active participants in professional organizations on the local and state levels, and in local community activities.
