Lutheran Community Services Northwest is a nonprofit organization that provides human services to more than 120,000 individuals living in communities throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho. It offers mental health counseling and adoption services to individuals, families, schools, businesses and congregations. Lutheran Community Services Northwest provides advocacy, outreach, multicultural counseling and social services, as well as alcohol and drug addiction treatment and parent and community education programs. It also offers transitional housing, crisis intervention, disaster management, teen pregnancy prevention, and foster and home health care services. Additionally, the organization provides violence prevention counseling, employee assistance, refugee resettlement and family support programs. Lutheran Community Services Northwest maintains one of its facilities in Kennewick, Wash.
