Very nice said it could be something as little as 150.00 or if it was not that could be about 800-900 and said he would let me know before they did anything and he called and let me know ahead what it was and how much it would cost! It was done the day he said and I have had no issue thank you Longhorn Transmissions.!

Being without your car is always a pain but I was so pleased with the service I received at this shop. First time I have tried them and I will now never go anywhere else. I got a fair price for the work I needed and was able to get my work done faster than anywhere else I was quoted.

Back in February I had to have my transmission rebuilt which cost me $1000. This was an unexpected expense so of course I did not have the full amount up front. The gentleman that owns the place allowed me to pay 1/2 down and pay the rest out. I don't know of many places that will let you do that. The transmission works great and I had it back within 3 days of dropping it off. I strongly suggest using this company.

One of Roy Gordon's Many Unsatisfied Customers

Hey, we should form a support group for the ripped off customers of Longhorn Transmissions/Motors in Kaufman, Texas (not to be confused with the classy Longhorn Motors of Austin, Texas). If you are looking for an honest business to buy a car from or to get good repair work, just keep driving past this clown. Unless you have low self esteem and think you deserve to get ripped off on a car deal (I was sold a car with no oil in the engine) or enjoy getting cussed out, steer clear of the Gordon Gang. Until the DMV finally shuts them down or judge forces him to pay up for his dishonest deals, just say no and keep on driving- in the opposite direction from his place of business!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

My transmission went out. I called them and they gave me a quote of the phone of $150 to fix it. Turns out they used that as a ploy to get my vehicle up there. I ended up spending $900 to have the entire transmission replaced and the next day it was already going bad again. They told me they were there every Saturday. I tried to get up there before my warranty went out and 2 Saturdays in a row, no one was there. I finally took a day off work, which I could not afford to do, to go up there on a Tuesday. They pulled 3 codes off the transmission and tried to tell me that the computer was going out so it isn't their fault... I KNOW BETTER. So he reset the code and told me to drive it out and come back AFTER THE WARRANTY IS OUT and if it was still doing it then he would charge me $350 to fix it again.

I'm NOT taking my vehicle back to these idiots. They stripped my motormounts and tried to say they did not. They busted a vaccuum hose and tried to say they did not.

These people cost more money than they save. DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS. They try to play it off as a new business that just opened and are trying to get their name out there by doing people right but in reality, it's a bunch of lazy people who have no clue what they are doing.
