        Weatherwax Electric began in the small rural town of Kailua on the island of Oahu in 1953. Kailua was considered "country" and a one stop sign town where everyone knew each other in a small home town way. We began caring for the electrical needs of Kailua residents over 55 years ago when there were more cows in Kailua than people! Daily home milk delivery was provided by Campos Dairy whose cows roamed freely in large pasture lands throughout the small valley where today customers enjoy shopping at Macy's and Don Quixote and Longs Drug Store.
