Fairbridge Inn & Suites

My husband and I are from Jonesboro and knew at one time this hotel was called the holiday inn and the nicest in town at one time. We live 20 miles away and for Valentine's weekend we thought we would rent the room with the whirlpool. When we arrive at our room the door handle was broken first off. The air condition sounded like a motor boat running. We walked around the pool and all the extras and it was a dump. Bleach spots all over the carpets in the hall. The hot tub by pool wasn't working. And it stunk. We go back to our room and in our whirlpool was hair and slime. We had to argue for a refund and was only there for 30 mins. Nasty smell in the room also and sheets were stained! For 170$ a night they are outta of their minds.

The continental breakfast was awful, they did not have soap in the rooms and it was not very clean

It seems as if they ditch all their other reviews!!! I just posted one on April 15,2014!!! My husband stayed there from December 5 2013 til March 23 2014 and at first looking at our print outs we was over charged on our credit card 45 dollars but after calling to speak to Stacy( the manager) about this matter about 20 times to find out why and she never answered or return my calls! We thought she must have something to hide so we went thru the print outs with a fine tooth comb and found out we was taken for more than any 45 dollars it was 352.80!!! We still haven't heard from them on the reason of this problem and I'm not the type to forget and leave stuff alone til I get the answer!!! The only thing I was told was it was due to a 9 day week, which I live on earth don't know what planet they're on because there is no 9 days in a week but we did have 2 payments made on the same day off our card I guess we paid for her and her boyfriends room!!! They don't allow a person to talk to anyone above her( Stacy, the manager) to try to get to the bottom of the reason for the extra charge!!! Must admit we( a lot of people that comes into my work place) has made a lot of jokes about the 9th day of a week and had lots of laughs but it still doesn't fix the problem!!! Needless to say his work has took them back to the Jonesboro area starting the 28th of April going thru July but we( most of the workers) aren't staying there!!! There is two guys now which actually works thru a different company and they don't know the problems others has had maybe they need to check out their payments to them. But the last time they worked in the Jonesboro area there was 15 to 20 guys staying there! I would stay with my husband from Tuesday night to Thursday morning and back on Saturday evening to Monday morning so I seen how things was done around there!!! POOR MANAGEMENT!!! And every time my review is deleted I will review again and again til I have this solved even if I have to put it in the news papers or whatever!!! I'm here til the end!!! Tammy
