Overall
Dont go!!!

The Dr. is a nice guy, but his work is terrible. I had some cavities filled about 3 months ago and I cannot eat anything hard like candy or drink anything to cold or hot. Soon as I do my teeth hurt terrible. I have never had my teeth hurt like this after just getting some fillings. Plus he has some little weird girl helping him do fillings and cleanimgs and she does a half a$$ job 2. My fiances experience was 10 times worse than mines was. Please, if you read this, save your teeth the trouble & pain and find another place to go have your work done!

Dr Pollina is an awesome Dr. H...

Dr Pollina is an awesome Dr. His tech's are great as well and I don't really think any of them would call a patient names that I have read on here. Dr Pollina really cares about his patients. He put's the care of your teeth at t he top of his priority list. He's one of the very few Dr;s in a tri-county area that will except the states insurance. Which other denist wont' because it doesn't pay as well. And I do personally believe if you say that you have been m istreated in this office , you must be a person looking for troubles. I have seen Dr Pollina having to have a security gurard in his waiting room do to the way that some of his patient's act with his staff and with other patients. I've seen it with my own eyes. It's terrible how some people can act in public due to his rules and policies. I will tell you that he did have esp one of his off ice girls that wasn't always the nicest to his patients and he never new about it because anytime anyone would complain the office manager would take care of it and she was one of the problems Well needless to say... she is no longer there. His new office manager is a real sweetheart and you will not have any troubles with the front office people.Nor with his Tech's that work with him in patient area's. So if you heed a good denist give Dr Pollina a call. You won't be disappointed. Unless you are looking for a disappointment.

Overall
Nice office -- great dentist

kudos to the dentist at this office, took time to speak with me, explain what he was going to do

and how much it was going to cost me, the office staff are great and the dental assistants are

kind and gentle... .. yes I waited a bit for my appointment but then again I was put in as a

emergency and seen 2 hours after phoning with a toothache. The 1st review on here from the

poor woman who has the state assistance insurance should be ashamed of herself... for

someone living off my tax dollars to be complaining and whining but above all slandering a

office that is wonderful is sad. Maybe she should try working for a living....

Nice dentist

My wife was working and I had to take my 2 children for their school cleanings. The staff was very helpful

and the dentist made my children feel comfortable. They left with stickers in their hands and no cavaties.

Yes I waited for a bit for my appointment but my children both have the yellow access card, there was no

fee for the services they received. Being laid off I was very appreciative of this. Thank God for this office.

Fantastic

I was hit in the mouth with a golf ball back in June of 2008, it was a emergency situation. I called New Dimensions that same day and asked what was the soonest I could be seen. They gave me an appointment 1 hour later. When I arrived I was immediatly taken back, Dr Pollina examined me and him and his staff went over all my options. They are by far the kindest most caring office I have ever been to. Thank God for him and his staff, without them I would have been waiting weeks for a emergency appointment. Maybe its time the people who are receiving free dental from the state should get down on their knees and be thankful.. I paid for my visits, happy to be given such great care.

Fantastic Dentist

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Pollina, yes I did wait 45 min. to get back to see him, but I have waited hours and hours at my ob gyn appts and for other appointments. He fixed a tooth that has been bothering me for a very long time, it had turned a grayish color, now the pain is gone and the color of the tooth has been matched to the others. The only drawback to my whole experience is sitting in the waiting room listening to patient who have the STATE INSURANCE, the entire time I was there they were moaning and complaining about everything from the tv station to the wait time. Being that me as a tax payer was paying for their free dental dont you think they would have sat politely and waited their turn just like myself a cash paying patient? These people have no manners, nor do they appreciate all the free work they were getting, no wonder Dr Pollina is overbooked, no other dentist in their right mind would want these same people sitting in their waiting rooms. Shame on the welfare people of Johnstown, yes sometimes you have to wait for your free cheese.....
