Horrible service, techs and vets!!!!!!!

To make a long story short, on my first and initial visit, which was just ?to get established?. I arrived early and still had to sit in the EMPTY waiting room about 20 minutes before being called back to a room. The tech was rude, not friendly and argued with me about what vaccines my cat had already had!!! I waited in the exam room for almost 45 minutes before I went and asked if a vet was gonna come in anytime soon. The vet finally come in a few minutes later. Dr. Hart (which I had to get on their website to find out her name) come in, never once introduced herself, was very short and not polite in the least!!!! I will NEVER go back or recommend this place!!!! WORST VET CLINIC I HAVE BEEN TO!!!!!

Poor service, expensive

I too have been a long time customer of Mountain Empire. The lack of compassion for an animal is shocking, and the prices expensive. I will go outside of their network for my animals' care.

Less Care; More Cost

Having been a very loyal customer of Mountain Empire, specially Dr. Ronald Scott and Dr. P. E. Cassel for over 30 years, I have hesitated to post a review. When they first started in business you could not have found more caring, interested in the welfare of animals, and dedicated to the well-being of all patients in their care anywhere in the US. Sadly to say, the pursuit of money overcame all other considerations. This review is based on many years of association, as I previously stated. When their caring and attention started to slip, I made allowances, (they were busy, they had a bad day, etc.) and continued to take my animals to them. The final straw came when the disinterest became too much to ignore and I could no longer convince myself that they really cared. The more hospitals they acquired, yes they do own many veterinary hospitals even though they do not carry the Mountain Empire name, the less interest they have shown in the care and devotion to their customers most precious companions. Now it is all about the charges and additional fees that go along with this so called care. If you love and respect your devoted and loving companions; please consider a different veterinary clinic, just do your homework and make sure it is not owned by Mountain Empire.

Love this place!

I have been used this clinic for the last 9 years and they have gone above and beyond to help me with anything that has ever happened with my 3 dogs. I have a puppy with a bladder problem and Dr Lilly did everything to help us with this problem. Everytime I have called or stopped by with a question, it is always answered. It's the only place I will board my dogs anymore because they are well taken care of and they give me the option of them bathing the dogs before being picked up. I recommend them to everyone that asks and will continue to do so.

Sub Standard Care

Please beware of taking your beloved pet to this clinic. I took my three year old female cat to this clinic twice in a one week period. The second trip she could not breathe through her nose, had an elevated body temperature, would not eat or drink. It was obvious to me that she had an upper respiratory infection and was in need of a regiment of amoxicillin to clear up the infection. Dr. Lilly told me that she had a virus and anitbotics would do her no good, this was after her second set of xrays (at $90 each). I had spent over $300 in a week and my pet got progressively worse. Exactly one week to the day, from my first trip to Mnt. Empire, I took her to Northridge Vet Clinic. The very knowledgeable doctor there gave her the anitobotics that she needed, as well a prescription for the viral infection, and did all this without the aid of xrays. Total cost of the third trip to vet $80, this included medications. Does this type of practice sound like a scam to you?
