I have never had a problem with Castro's. I've bought my Ac's from them, very good prices and always willing to accomodate. I've had them come out and fix my refrigerator as well and they made sure i was getting the best price for a part they needed to replace. I would highly recommend Castro's to anyone needing repairs instead of buying a new AC or refrigerator.

I brought a refrigerator from Castros and When I got the refrigerator I smelled a leak in freezer, Smelled like freon, but delivery tech, told me it smells like that because it wasnt working for a while. A week later the refrigerator was making strange sounds and Repairman came and fixed now almost 1 year later refrigerator is now broken and they want to charge me a service fee to come over to see the unit. The repair could cost me more than what I paid for it. These people they sell defective merchandise and only give 30 days guarantees These people are not honest they dont stand behind their merchandise. Stay away otherwise you may lose your money.

Scam and rip off. NEVER use this company. Scam and rip off. NEVER use this company. Had work done by this company last august. recharged freon and made it appear as if they were doing other work to the unit but just twisted nuts and bolts to the tune of $275...ok it worked but not even 9 months later service was needed again. Since all this supposed work was done only freon was to be recharged again mind you but no they came recharged again and wrote lies as far as what was done...i say that because on the list it said they replaced the compressor but you would have to special order it so you tell me...they then wanted to charge $285!!!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company. There are many honorable and honest companies out there...Never will i ever use this one again. You shouldnt either.

These guys will RIP you off to no end and not take responsibility for their work. Our Washing Machine was filling up with too much water. Castro came and said it was the water valve. Charged me 180.00 to fix it. 2 days later the machine overflowed and came through our ceiling and down 2 floors to the neighbors. They wouldn't come back til the next day and said they couldn't find anything wrong with the machine so they weren't responsible. A court date is in their future.
