Allen Oldfield was the technician who fixed my broken opener. Very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend them and will be calling them in the future if it breaks again. He repaired the opener, replaced the rollers and did a general tuneup and it works better than it ever has since I've lived here.

The tech came out and diag my prob as worn springs and rollers. The springs were not broken nor were the rollers. I've since learned that the issue was just that it needed adj. I was ignorant of that and listened to the tech from Americas Garage Door. He sold me 2 springs, rollers, and a service charge for about $600. Within 2 days the prob was back. I did some research and learned that the door wasn't balanced making the opener have trouble lifting the door. raise the door halfway and let it go and it would slam shut. I cont Americas Garage Doors and complained. said they were sending a tech back out between 3 and 5pm on 5/24 and he would call. I took off work to be home and waited. The tech called at 430pm and said he would be an hour. By 8pm no tech. Next day tech said he would be at my house by 8am. No call and no show on the tech as of 9am while I'm writing this review. At this point they have taken $600 of my money, not fixed my door, and waisted 8 hours of my work time.

Called for a problem and they created another one. Called the owner to discuss the issue and he is yelling, rude, called be an idiot and said I was stupid repeatedly. Begin a woman from the customer service industry and one of intelligence I spoke calmly and he wanted no part of it. Refused to address the problem at hand so he hung up on me and called his tech to leave the premises. Under normal circumstances an owner of a business wants to build integrity not stoop to the level of calling his customer childish names, He left and gave me the installed springs and labor. I surmised correctly. There was a problem he created and it was easier to turn tail and run than to solve it like a true professional business owner. Funny thing is that I had to tell the tech to unplug the garage door opener before it caught fire. We had no smoking garage door yesterday. Do yourself a huge favor and call another company!

Fast service and my service guy definitely knew his stuff. I was so impressed when Chris G. took the time to explain how everything worked. I am always nervous when I have a service man come to my house, but this company had a nice truck with logos to identify him, and a nice collared shirt. I was very impressed with who showed up at my home to fix my garage door. Some of the services guys out there are SCARY! Criminals for sure. This is a reputable company and I wanted to write a review on their behalf.

Came same day, replaced both springs within an hour. Charged over $600!

A friend recommended this company, and although I live near St. Augustine, they were johnny-on-the-spot when it came to servicing my needs. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has a need for a new garage door and/or opener, in addition to friendly, fast service afterwards.

Prompt response and scheduling to door problem. Called in advance and and was on-time. Very professional and efficient. Offered tips on maintenance and recommended services . Took his time and thoroughly examined my door and then fully lubricated it. David Killimade was EXCELLENT !

Expensive lesson learned. Always get a quote before using any company for home repair. I know this , but called this company because they installed my garage door opener three years ago and did a good job. They just installed two new springs to fix my garage door the other day and charged me $378 just for the springs. After paying this shocking bill I called other garage door companies for a quote and the same springs cost $298. Rip-off!! My fault, but I will never use this company again!!!

Called these guys on Saturday and got someone right away. Awesome! They then said they could come out today and would not charge overtime on Saturdays. I was impressed with how fast they worked and with how knowledgeable they were. The bill was less than expected too. Great all around service

I couldn't open my garage door this morning and my car was inside. I called this garage door repair company and they were at my front door in less than 30 minutes. They fixed my spring that broke and reviewed some garage door basics with me. Very efficient and knowledgeable.

America's garage doors in Jacksonville Fl installed a carriage garage door at my home and my house looks 20 years younger. Very good company.

Well, I inadvertently drove through my garage door. Wow, how embarrassing!! But fortunately America's garage doors arrived only a little while after I called and installed a new garage door in no time. Luckily I didn't have to explain the incident to too many of my neighbors or family since they replaced it so quickly!! Thank you so much!!

Very happy with this garage door company in Jacksonville. Thanks America's for the great service. The guy that came out was so nice that he even put me in a much better mood after having an aweful morning especially when I pushed the button and guess what the *&%$#$ garage door woud not open. But he had the repairs done in no time and even gave my dog a treat and left him with his tail wagging and me smiling.

Yesterday which as you know was memorial day and we were having a family cookout. Well my cousin who should not have been driving backed in to our garage door and I'm surprised didn't drive through it Saturday night. We were mortified thinking that our guests were going to see the damage which was not a pleasant sight. Thank goodness we called America's garage doors and they arrived at our house 1st thing yesterday morning and installed a new garage door and didn't charge us extra because of the holiday. We had a great Memorial day party thanks to America's grarage doors in Jacksonville!! ;-)

America's really made having garage door repairs done on a Monday morning alot more tolerable. The guy came out, made me feel like I really mattered, which by the way I don't get very much these days. He showed up as scheduled and with a smile. Another surprise. He repaired my garage very promptly and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this garage door company.

Dave was my service provider. He replace my garage door opener and garage door rollers. When he left he did not "test" the door, because when I came out to close it, the door would not close. It took a week to get the door working correctly. It works great now, but the frustration level was not worth the end result. I'd try a different garage door company before I'd call them again.
