I.B. Tigrett Middle School offers educational programs to more than 530 students in grades seven and eight. The school maintains a parent-teacher association and band group, as well as provides sports activities, including football, softball and soccer. I.B. Tigrett Middle School also organizes fundraising programs and is a part of the Jackson-Madison County Board of Education, which governs high, middle, elementary and intermediate schools. The district features maintenance, nutrition service, transportation, business and technology departments. Its schools offer Title 1, special education, before- and after-school and English as a Second Language programs. Jackson-Madison County Board of Education s schools provide classes in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers educational programs in English, social studies, math, science, fine arts and foreign languages. I.B. Tigrett Middle School is located in Jackson, Tenn.
