The Jackson-Madison County General is a public, nonprofit healthcare system and member of the West Tennessee Healthcare systems. Its mission is to provide high quality compassionate healthcare. General Hospital is among their teaching hospitals. Its cancer center works with the surgery and radiology departments where surgical procedures, stereotactic biopsies, bone scans, CT scans, MRIs and mammographies are routinely performed.
