She saw my face and said hold on...oh, it worked. Then I saw 3 items at 1.99 taxable...my 3 purchases. Then ,there was a 4th item...1.00 nontax. After arguing that it was supposed to be on there, she then conceded that it was a mistake, but she didn't enter it. So, either the employee, the store, or both are engaged in a scam. I can only guess how many people got charged an extra dollar and never noticed.
