        The Golf Courses of Kenton County, located in Independence, Ky., is a group of three public golf courses, including the Pioneer, Fox Run and Willows. Established in 1968, the Pioneer is a more than 5,800-yard Midwestern golf course. It has an 18-hole golf course and its facility includes a dining room, cocktail lounge, snack bar, pool, grill area, clubhouse deck and locker rooms for both men and women. The Willows is a more than 6,500-yard golf course that also has a golf shop that provides golf accessories and gift items for various occasions. It offers a variety of memberships, such as social, golf, corporate and junior memberships.
