Went in with concussion, only wanted an X-ray , male doctor did rectal exam without female attendee.

Made it clear I could not afford a doctor bill and regardless to that they are billing me 900.00 after a 175.00 copayment paid upfront very unprofessional would not recommend for pets let alone people.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! even I'd they accept your insurance you still will get a bill from them that you owe them money. They are crooks. They do tests so you just owe them money. They are scamming everyone that walks into that place.

The first time I went I found everyone very competent. I had severe abdominal pain and after a CAT Scan and diagnosis of acute pancreatitis I was sent to the ER and put into a room immediately. According to Physicians ER that is the point. As I did not have insurance they told me very clearly that if it was an emergency in their opinion they would bill me. If it was not I would pay before I left. I said that was fine.



Fast forward two weeks. Same abdominal pain now accompanied with fever. My husband wanted to take me to the hospital but I remembered how much easier the process was from Physicians ER to hospital as I assumed I would end up there again. I told him to take me there.



Getting to a room was easy as they aren't very busy and now I understand why. I waited and the doctor came pretty quickly. He sat down and said (really, actually, said this) "I'm just wondering why you keep coming back here since you already owe us over $2000.00"



At which point I told him I would leave and did. Everything went from there as I imagined. The hospital was full, it took forever, and when finally we got tests done I needed my gall bladder removed.



The moral here: Physicians ER has no interest in your health. They are about the money. And I have no desire to be seen or treated by people who don't actually care about the patients. How frightening. No one should ever be treated like that for any reason.
