American Alloy Fabrication, based in Huntsville, Ala., has been supplying metal fabricated parts, industrial enclosures, custom weldments and mechanical assemblies since 1980. The company provides project management, mechanical engineering, prototype development, production manufacturing, laser cutting, and computerized numerically controlled turret punching, forming and manual machining. It also offers welding, metal finishing, deburring, vibratory tumbling, bead blasting, water jet cutting, plating, painting and silk-screening, and packaging, crating and shipping services. AAFI utilizes advanced computer-aided and manufacturing software, and laser cutting systems that produce complex shaped parts with high-speed precision. Its CNC punching equipment includes an Amada Pega 367, offering a 33-ton press capacity, a 58-tool station turret, and maximum sheet size of 60- by 144-inch. AAFI s precision CNC press brakes include Toyokoki's electric APB series machines with six-axis gauging and five-micron ram repeatability.
