Founded in 1977, Alabama Orthotics and Prosthetics Inc. is a community based patient care center. Based in Huntsville, Ala., it is certified and specializes in C-leg, MYO-electric arm, spinal bracing, mastectomy, compression hose, diabetic shoes, custom molded shoe inserts, arch supports and more. In addition to orthotics and prosthetics, the company offers counseling to patients and their families and it works with area physicians and their staff notifying them about innovative products and techniques in the fields of prosthetics and orthotics. Alabama Orthotics and Prosthetics Inc. also assists surgeons in the hospital or physicians offices in taking the required steps to implement correct methods throughout the process.
