Muffler America

Labor less than 2 and a half hours. Charged 3 hours. Sensor from O'Reilly was $68. Charged $89. VERY DISHONEST

Muffler America was recommended to me after failing for an inspection sticker due to various things, including an exhaust leak. No appointment was needed, walked-in and received service right away. Not sure of the mechanic's name but he was very friendly and fixed my exhaust in about 30 minutes (needed a patch and a pipe replaced). Very reasonable price for the work. Mechanic did an AMAZING job! My car is 16 years old and sounds brand new.

I had a horrible exhaust break, I called they told me to bring it in for a free estimate, they gave me a very reasonable price, showed me exactly what was needed to be done, listened to what I heard from it to fix an additional issue & had it fixed under an hour from the time I handed them the keys. It purrs like it's brand new.

I broke down in Huntington at a local Walmart. The man who helped me with a jump said he saw sparks fly from my starter. I told him I was from out of town and asked if he knew someone who would help me. He told me to go to Muffler America.



I did and I explained I was broke down and from out of town. They immediately put my truck on the rack. 5 minutes later I was driving out of there. The wire to my starter was so loose it was ready to fall off. The mechanic didn't charge me. He wished me a Merry Christmas and told me to on my way.

Watch out here! I made an offer on a vehicle they had for sale and the offer was accepted. I was then told that i would have to wait to buy the car until they received the title from the previous owner since they had just put the car out that day. I asked about a time frame and was told 2 or 3 days. I waited the 2 days and called them to check on the title. I was told that the title was being picked up the next day. I then went to the bank and got the money to purchase the vehicle. When I went to Muffler America the next afternoon to pay for the car I was told that it HAD BEEN SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE the day before! I can only assume that someone made him a better offer and he took it and left me hanging out to dry. Not a great way to conduct buisness if you ask me.
