My little multipoo has been to 4 Seasons several times, at least 4 or 5 if not more and I've been pleased every time. She's excited when we arrive and very willingly goes with the staff and she seems happy with herself, wiggles all over and is in good spirits when we pick her up.
Can't say enough about the staff. They're friendly, seem genuinely concerned about my little girl and if I have a question, I get a prompt, courteous reply. The staff has been most accommodating, taking her on short notice. Someone in another review mentioned the cost was more expensive then other facilities, I've found it to be comparable so I can't complain.

Just picked my puppy up. This place is spotless and my Sparky's first boarding experience seemed to be very positive. He is happy and clean. No signs of trauma and the staff seemed to know everything about his habits and genuinely care about his well being. I'll be back. Thank you!

On initial visit, we were very...

On initial visit, we were very pleased. However about 10 days later when our 2 kittens came down with giardia from their visit, we were not so pleased. I immediately contacted the facility and was told by their owner that there was no way it came from them and probably came from my house. I've had cats for 18 years and this is the first time we have left them at a boarding facility and the first time I've dealt with Giardia. I also only took 2 of my cats there since my 3rd cat is really old and feeble and it would have been too traumatic for her. The 2 cats that I took were the ones that got sick. The 3rd cat followed after the 10-14 day incubation period, so with this info, there is no other place that it could have come from. When I mentioned that to the owner, I was told that they were never out of their sterlized cage and so there is no way they could have come in contact with anything from their facility. We were told by 2 different employees when we called to check on them that the cats were out of their cage and running around playing in the cat room. When I mentioned this to the owner, he said that none of the employees would have told me that since they never take the animals out of their cages. The fact that I'm being lied to, the facility is denying any wrong doing, and the attitude of the owner, causes me to leave such a negative review. Here we are almost 3 months since our vacation we are STILL dealing with the effects. The giardia keeps reoccuring despite treatment all due to the facilities negligence. My families short vacation has turned into an extremely pricey one with vet bills in the thousands now. We are also having to deal with the possible heartbreak of turning our cats over to the vet since we cannot get rid of the illness and cannot afford to keep going through the treatment.

Also, like the above poster mentioned, they highly stress getting a bath before you leave the facility. I have never heard of ANYWHERE giving a bath but not brushing the animal. You pay a ridiculous charge for a bath and they never brush them. If you want your pet brushed, it's even more, and they don't tell you that. You just find out when you go pick up a messy haired dog. Totally doesn't make sense.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

As the owner of Four Seasons, I will comment on this review... Giardia is a parasite that is carried by humans, dogs and cats, among others. Contamination is caused by contact with infected fecal matter. In the case of this pet owner, contamination was much more likely to have been from her 3rd cat or dog, or her infant child, or another source in her home. While our cat cages are not "sterilized" as the owner stated, our cat facility is exceptionally clean and is open to public inspection anytime. Cats are never placed in a situation where they might be in contact with another pets fecal matter. The fact that her 3rd cat (which was not boarded at Four Seasons) also contracted giardia suggests that the source of the infection is at the owners home. Several cats were boarded at our facilty at the same time is this owners 2 cats, and no one reported any illness in their cats. In regards to the bath/brushing, the pet owner did not express to us any dissatisfaction with our policy. Actually, a brushout as a part of a bath is not common practice in the grooming business, unless it is otherwise stated up front. We do offer a bath, brushout spa package, but the pet owner did not signup for this option. We would have been happy to do it if she had requested. If you are new to pet boarding, come check us out. You will find a friendly, knowledgeable staff and a clean, safe and fun facility. Greg Bleakley, Owner, Four Seasons Pet Resort

My poor baby.....

I went to Las Vegas for a week and found the Four Seasons Pet Resort in Hull. It wasn't as expensive as most places I found and was local. Prince, my Chinese Crested Powderpuff was supposed to go swimming and I was to receive a picture of this activity. Prince did not go swimming so, I did not pay for it. This was fine. The problem was my boyfriend went to pick up Prince about noon or 1 p.m. and he had just had a bath. Prince was not completely dry, and the bath was scheduled for 9 a.m. When I get home from work and play with Prince I find that he is matted all over.... The questions I have is 1) why wasn't he dry by noon? 2) Why wasn't he brushed and papered? and 3) Why did they spray the doggy cologne right on his skin? I know know you DO get what you pay for!!!!!! Something told me to take him to the one down by the airport.....!!!!! I HATE that I didn't listen!!!!

I'm sorry that you didn't have a better experience at my kennel. We always strive to please and try to make things right if we fail. Had you voiced your complaint to me as the owner, I would have happily rectified the situation. We tried to take your dog for a swim and he did not like it, and we did not even charge you for the time we spent trying. Why your dog was still wet when you picked up I cannot explain. He was bathed well before your boyfriend arrived to pick him up. Regarding why your dog was not brushed out...you did not sign up for this service...just the bath. Brushing carries an additional charge. Why did we spray dog cologne on his skin? Where would you suggest we spray it?
