Pediatric Care
Dr. David Fredenburg is a graduate of the Univ of Virginia, UMass/Amherst & Medical College of Virginia. He is also a member of the American Board of Pediatrics and American Academy of Pediatrics. He enjoys working with patients and families on most all of the pleasures and problems that infants, children and adolescents offer us. Vaccine preventable illnesses are a strong professional interest; he has been appointed to three NH state committees that provide access and funding for vaccines to all the NH's children. He lives in Hudson, and marvels at the achievements of former patients and his two grown sons.
Emergency Care
Calling to get ‘permission’ to go to the hospital or emergency room is not required by this office. It is always appropriate to call to review symptoms with us if you are uncertain whether they should be evaluated emergently. You may consider that a number of "emergency" services, including suturing of lacerations, splinting and casting of fractures, may be more readily available (and more costs more appropriate) in the office when it is open.

Immunizations
Well child visits or physicals are suggested in our office at the following ages, shown with the currently recommended New Hampshire State vaccination schedule. The vaccination schedule is always undergoing review and a number of changes have occurred each year. Information about the vaccines (including CDC Vaccine Information Sheets - VIS) is available in the office at the time of the immunization, or if desired, may be obtained prior to the well child visit. Vaccine and disease information (including CDC VIS sheets) is also always available through the CDC website ( www.cdc.gov ). A combination vaccine with DTaP/HIB/IPV became available in 2008, reducing the number of injections significantly in the 1st year.

Radiology
David Fredenburg MD PA opened in July 1997 as a private pediatric practice, affiliated with Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and Saint Joseph Hospital. Currently patients seen at Southern NH Medical Center are admitted and followed by hospitalists/neonatalogists at the hospital. A hospitalist is always available in house at the hospital and readily available to attend deliveries or emergency room patients. Inpatients at other hospitals are seen by on call pediatricians at each of those hospitals. Outpatient studies, including radiology and laboratory can be completed at either center (as well as other medical centers that may be closer to your home), referrals for general specialists is also available at either location.
