This is in reply to Adviserman, Ted Markle (or Ted Mar – as the name you used in Facebook), nowhere in our computer files ( a data base of over 4,000 names that we have begun in 1998 when we became computerized) did your name come up as a consignor or a bidder. If you do have issues with a consignment that you brought to us, please give us a call and give us the opportunity to address this matter. Unfortunately, the name you used on Facebook of Ted Mar is a new account, with no history, a man’s name, George Clooney’s photo, and states that you are female. This looks to be bogus, and we feel that this is the work of a disgruntled worker in conjunction with their family and/or friends.

It is truly sad that we are honest, hardworking people that try to make an honest living and have to deal with unscrupulous people who have worked for us and post false, negative information online, to ruin our reputation. This is my family’s business, and I have worked long and hard to achieve and maintain a good reputation. A worker, whom we have given food, clothing, transportation and tried to give a hand up to, has stolen from us and lied to us, has had his family and friends post false negative information about our company online. We have called them trying to sort this out and was treated by having vulgar language screamed at us over the phone. It is very sad that people can seem to post anything they want to hurt a person or company’s reputation online, without one piece of evidence

The family has owned and operated the business since I started going in the early '70's. I have always gotten great antiques to house hold items at at fair price. I've always been treated with courtesy and respect over the many years. A very friendly and enjoyable atmosphere at all times.
