The customer service is very poor. My dr turned in a request for equipment to be delivered for my infant son on early morning 3/27/13. I was told they would contact me same day for delivery. At 2:41pm 3/28/13 I had to call my dr to find out why preferred had not contacted me yet. My dr called them and they stated they had left me a message the previous day (NOT TRUE). 3:16 pm they called me and apologized for the delay and stated all their trucks were out on deliveries and they would call me back if they could get my equipment on a truck that day. 7:30 pm a delivery driver called me and said he had 2 stops in front of me and would be arriving late. 8:30 pm he called back to see if I still wanted the machine. 9:30 pm he arrived with a unit and explained that it was covered 100% by my insurance and explained how to use it. 8/13 I receive a bill for $106.00 that was dated 7/19/13 and past due with no description of the charges. I called to inquire about the bill and billing had to call me back 3 times in order to tell me what the bill was for. I asked if I could return the unit that was unused because my son's condition went away by the time they finally delivered it, they stated they have a 30 day return policy and refused the return. The lady spoke very nasty to me and said they delivered the unit in a timely manner and I was responsible for the bill. (I could have purchased this unit from CVS the same morning I picked up my sons mess for $40.00). Really not happy about their poor service response, lying to my dr's office, lack of communication, delivery of false information, untimely billing, and poor customer service.

Very poor rating. I've been trying to get oxygen delivered to a home care patient for over week. Multiple calls to the office have the same response - "it's on the truck for delivery today". Over a week!!!! My patient had to go to hospital because his oxygen level getting to the point of being dangerously low. Since he has TexansPlus, Preferred Homecare is the only supplier we can use and that is very sad indeed. No telling how much money could have been saved by simply delivering the oxygen in a timely manner. These people do not care, if you have a choice I advise to look elsewhere.
