Houston Asphalt & Concrete

My neighbor and I hired Chris at Houston Asphalt and Concrete to redo our cul-de-sac curb that was destroyed after several feet of Hurricane Harvey water. The finished product was absolutely terrible. The curb changed elevation several times - there was no consistent height. In addition, the curb bowed in and out and didn't follow the circular shape as the cul-de-sac had prior to the flood. His excuse was that nobody told him that we wanted it that way. My neighbor and I admitted to simply expecting that to be the general understanding. He agreed to remedy the issue by demolishing the curb once again and redoing it to the home owners' association standards for the cost of materials only. He has promised to return 4 different times in the last month and a half but he has yet to show back up. Perhaps our curb-job was too little but it was a complete waste of $1,700 of which $850 was my part.

I've met the owner of this company and am surprise to see the above comment. They have always been professional over the phone and in person and have great customer service. I'm told most of their business is through word of mouth. Maybe someone was having a bad day, but based on what I know of them I would recommend.
