Mattress King

Do not buy from this company - Mattress King First let me say this is the first time I've ever written a bad review for the public to see.... I had to buy a mattress due to the horrific manner in which my husband died in our bed. The bed I laid down on in the store was wonderful, however the bed I received is as different as night and day (the exact same bed, per the tag anyway). I have made 5 phone calls speaking to 3 different people, explaining to each my reason for having to get a new one (my old is at the dump by the way) and my issues with the difference in the 2 beds. NOT ONCE did either of them even act like they cared what I had to say, never even saying "I'm sorry" one time. They will exchange it for a $200 fee. After much disagreement, their solution is to waive the $200, after I was told the beds are made by computer so there's NO POSSIBLE WAY there's that much difference. REALLY?? If this one is a lemon persay, why do i want to deal with another one. Per their Resolution man, David Holman at 479 636-3447, the owner Phillip Ashley won't extend the human courtesy of calling me back. Nor will David give me a number to reach Phillip. He said very sarcastically "Good luck at reaching him at one of his 18 stores (possibly 13, don't remember for sure). They are lacking customer service very badly, not to mention this is a HORRIBLE way to run a business. You would think after one just dropped over a grand in your store you would at least extend a phone call. Really wouldn't matter if it was only $100. NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN A COMPANY! Proceed with caution if dealing with them!
