Convenient Care Clinic

I could tell I was going to have problems from my first encounter with the front desk. The lady looked at me and would not acknowledge I was there until I said something first. She was clearly unhappy to be there. Then the nurse was clearly upset from the moment she called my name. She was so impatient she did not wait for the scale to stop balancing and wrote down my weight more than 15 lbs than it actually is. She would not let me finish explaining what was wrong and was more gruff with me for not giving her yes and no answers to question that were more complicated than that. The doctor seemed nice but clearly didn't take me seriously. He made a prescription for an antibiotic but nothing for my very painful cough. He did not test me for anything when this could be a viral disease. These people clearly wanted me out of their hair as soon as possible. I will never go back to a chi doctor or er sense they almost killed me as a teen.

Got in and out quick! Sinus infection, I've had plenty, and the staff were all friendly and polite. Saw John Bondhus, PA and he knew what he was doing, gave me options for treatment and sent me on my way with what I needed. I'll definitely go back here when I need urgent care in the future.

So "Awful"; you wanted a stronger antibiotic for what was likely a viral infection like cold/flu...good for Mercy, they wouldn't give you something that wouldn't work and would lessen the chance of it being effective when you actually needed it. Good for them, ER's are full of people wanting powerful antibiotics every flu season. Take two aspirin and go watch "House" on TV for a week, you'll be fine.

Went in for minor emergency care. five stictches. Staff and nurses where courteous and caring and concerned. Did their best to get me in and out in a timely manner. quicker than going to PCP...

Don't bother going. I went & received weak antibiotic. Called to get something strong because I was getting worse & they wouldn't call me in any stronger medicine. I dont have 10 days to get over a sinus infection like they informed me
