- The summer of 2011 will certainly go down in the record books as one of the bumpiest rides in recent memory. Rainy and wet through late spring season, yielding the June 1st tornado, followed by hot, humid weather most of the summer. Late summer ended with one of the rainiest periods, coupled with Hurricane Irene. Along with this rare summer season, there were many lawn and shrub problems as a result. Lawns suffered from diseases and overall stress, especially when the short heat wave in late July hit with record temperatures over 100 degrees! The shrubs and trees had severe insect activity, as well as disease issues. Water was necessary, however, too much can be just as harmful as not enough. Now that fall is here, things should get back to normal. However, it has been very wet, with prolonged summer, and unseasonable warm temperatures.

G & H Landscaping has provided landscape services for me at multiple properties over the past 25 years. They have always been professional and fair. I recently dealt with Gary and Chris for a project at my new home. My new lawn and landscape look great and the ongoing maintenance has been wonderful and made my life much easier. I can't recommend G & H Landscaping enough!! 5 stars!! Mary

Will make extra visits instead of combining them when related work needs to be done in orider to maximize their profit. Also mistakenly did work that was not contracted for and tried to embed the cost in their bill. Very poor customer service from the owners and office staff that do not clearly communicate your requests to the service department,

They have been excellent for over 20 years using all their services.... never an issue that was not addressed quickly and professionally.

Don’t get sucked in by this company!! Your project regardless of what you are quoted by Gary will go over budget by at least 30% or more. This company was hired to do a major project at my home and I was sucked in by Gary he seemed so honest (HA HA). He greatly exceeded my budget for the project, Items that should have been include in my mind all of a sudden became add on’s. Every time I had an issue with the work they did Gary came up with some convenient excuse as to why it was not his responsibility and that he had to charge you to repair something you already paid them to do once. The reason you see all that fancy advertizing on the TV for them is they get no word of mouth business no one that has worked with him will recommend them again and all that extra money he charges you pays for it. His better business status is a sham he just keeps paying they for his membership each year and they give him a good rating for it. Go with a smaller business that will actually care about your satisfaction not just getting your money. It is his house that is shown in the TV add again how convenient for him, nice write off Gary….

I found G & H Landscaping to not be such a great company to do business with on a couple different levels. The owner Gary as well as some of the staff were unprofessional and some of the work was sloppy. The owners son Chris seemed to think it was ok to chew tobacco and spit it out right in front of me while in my yard. Disgusting. The image G & H tries to portray is far from what they truly are. All things considered, aside from being over priced too it was mostly a bad a experience. Just my opinion.
