My '68 Camaro threw a fan belt at 4:55 on a Friday afternoon in Hobe Sound. Being from another part of the state and considering the hour, I thought I was up the creek w/o a paddle. I called A1 after finding it on the net and got the owner, David, who said he was just closing for the day but would come by where I was stranded and take a look.



He showed up in about five minutes, determined the problem to be a frozen alternator, helped me get the overheating car to his shop, went on a successful mission to find a replacement alternator for a 47 year old car, installed it, and didn't even charge extra for the after hours work.



This guy is a saint and deserves all the kudos he can get. I recommend A 1 Auto Care, Inc., without reservation.

I had to take my foreign car "VW Taureg" into the auto shop in Stuart FL., becasue my exceleration was bogging down. I found this shop and had a good experience with the repair of my car. The staff was friendly and honest and I wasn't even charged an arm an a leg for the repair of my car. It's so hard to find a auto shop that is honest now days, but this local auto repair shop was right up my alley. After the intital repair, I wasn't upsold on a bunch of things my car didn't need. Not to mention my wait wasn't too bad either. Their waiting area was comfortable and clean. Surprising for a local auto shop. I highly reccomend this auto repair shop for repair services.
