L'asia Hair Salon

I have had problems findings hairdresser care about the needs of my hair! That was until I found Marianne at L'Asia! She is amazing as she tirelessly works on my hair... She takes her time to make sure that she not only meets my needs but, exceeds them! Each request is met and I walk away amazed!! She and her staff outdo themselves to make my stay comfortable and fun! I am offered coffee and treats... They truly pamper you! If you are having a bad day... Make an appointment and treat yourself, not only to a great look but, to great treatment and conversation! They have fully impressed me!!! Their menu of prices and services are fully outlined so that there is no confusion of payment! I love straight forward and kind service:) thank you!!!!

I have been there before, and this place is exactly what they offer, a $10 service salon. No bells and whistles here. If you are expecting anything fancy, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. I went there for my usual quick trim, and on Tues & Wed they offer a $10 hair cut special. However, this is NOT what they gave me this time. They asked me if I wanted to 'air dry' or blow dry (it is 27 degrees out) I said blow dry. Well, they ADDED $25 on to my bill for the blow out! I was completely shocked! They told me I owed $35 BUCKS!!! FOR WHAT?!!! A $10 hair cut, with a 3 minute (NO STYLE) blow out costs $35 PLUS tip! When I brought it to the owner (Maryanns) attention, she did nothing about it, and told me that was the price for their wash/cut/blow. I was SHOCKED that on a WEDNESDAY, and the sign says $10, that THEY blew out my hair, and added $25 additional, WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD TAC ON $25 to blow out your hair?!!! Not to mention the place is old, dusty, hasn't been updated in YEARS and run down. There is no way on earth this place should be charging $35 for a hair cut, Do yourself a favor and go someplace that is reputable. There are 300 other haircutters within a 2 mile radious, go to Impressions, or Dakohtas or even Super Cuts for that matter, you'll get TWICE the service, and better products and friendlier staff, than what they give you at L'Asia... 'Nuff said.. They just lost 2 long term customers, and I am spreading the word like wild fire.. DO NOT GO THERE!!!
