Studio Ecesis

We selected Michael Cobb, owner of Studio Ecesis, to design a new lodge for our retreat. Estimates to build Mike’s attractive design exceeded our construction budget by several hundred thousand dollars. At that point his fees had also exceeded his proposal by over $10,000, and this was before he asked for that much again or more to revise the design so we could afford to build it. We eventually hired someone else to finish the job. In the end, Studio Ecesis billed fees against our retainer for discussing the fees in their redesign proposal. We would not choose to work with Studio Ecesis again.
