We're having same issues as the first reviewer. I talked to a lot of contractors however, and for a chop job in this price range, most told me Viking would be the best choice. If I were to do this again, I would request all meetings with a Viking representative, not a realtor. I would have very clear communication and request more time than one hour to review and approve final plans. They rush you through every step, put words like "urgent" in emails and then tell you, "oh it's too late to add windows to the garage doors," before the house had even been framed. Their emergencies aren't ours. I told them from the get go we are in no hurry and they should slow the F down. We're at truss stage, I'll try to remember to update once chop job is completed.

From start to finish we have had issues with viking home construction. I won't bore you with details if would like more specifics just talk to the owner wendall who declined to give me his name and than hung up Me acting like a 2 year old or the superintendent Travis who didn't care of what we had to say to get things fixed before they moved on to the next step, or how about Terry the warrenty man who says everything that needs to be fixed per bad construction or lack of caring is now a courtesy to us to fix their mistakes! We bought a new home to not have half these issues! Even people around us when we start talking of the building process they are like ah you got viking to build yikes !! I guess they really dont care about their product or customers ! Our warning to everyone ....Please don't do business with viking !!
