Business Disputes
Alayna Longstaffe was raised in Strathroy, Ontario. She graduated with distinction from Western University in 2005 and earned an honors degree in Mathematics. Alayna obtained her law degree from Dalhousie University in 2008, where she was the recipient of the Arthur Allister MacBain Memorial Scholarship and the D. Kerr Memorial Prize in Maritime Law. She completed a Business Law Specialization Certificate while at law school.
Deryk’s practice areas have included real estate, corporate and commercial work, estate administration. Deryk has provided pro brono services to various cultural and environmental organizations and has been directly involved as a volunteer in many of them. He is fortunate to be married to Shirley and they together have three grown children and now grandchildren, with whom he plans to spend much more time in retirement. Deryk’s clients will continue to be well taken care of by Alayna Longstaffe, Tory Laing and Lee Villar, with the help of Wolfe, Smith & Forster LLP’s friendly and professional support staff.
