        Founded in 1983, Neel-Schaffer is one of the largest, privately held engineering firms in the Southeast and the Southwest. It operates offices in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. The firm provides engineering, geotechnical, emergency management, landscape architecture, environmental, surveying, strategic planning and community development services. Neel-Schaffer also offers accident reconstruction, construction monitoring, grants management, site planning and development, and erosion and sediment control services. It maintains a staff of more than 350 employees. The firm has completed projects for Pearl River Resort, New Madrid Front and Popps Ferry Road Bridge. Neel-Schaffer is a member of the American Council Of Engineering Companies.
