been going 11 years and never had a problem, except when I was not compliant with keeping appointments needed to get my medications.

This office is the most incompetent, unprofessional, and uncaring office I've ever gone to. The staff is rude. Every time you go in for an appointment, expect the doctor to be ready for you a solid hour after your appointment time. If you need a prescription filled, they transfer you to a voicemail and never call you back. There are plenty of other options in Harrisonburg. Do not choose this one.

Today a girl that was standing behind the check in counter just stood there staring at me and making faces. Where do they get these people? Lisa is the same way. I have friends and family members that are nurses and they agree that juvenile or ignorant behavior by nurses should not be at the work place. Smdh

They have the absolute worst customer service ever. My fiance went there in tremendous pain and got some blood work done. The doctor said he'd call her when the results got back. He didn't. Instead they sent the results to our house with a handwritten note that said your bloodwork is fine and nothing else on it. So we called because she was still in tremendous pain and several of the results in her bloodwork showed levels several times the normal range. She left 6 or 7 messages over several days before anyone would call her back, and when they finally did they said the doctor says you're fine. When we told her the symptoms were worse and that the test results did not say she was fine, the woman told her she'd talk to the doctor and call us back that day. Of course that didn't happen. So we left messages again over several days before she finally called back and said they'd refer her to a specialist but it would take several weeks before they could get around to it. Meanwhile my fiance can barely walk because she's in so much pain. This is easily the worst medical care either of us have ever received. Our vet even gives us 10,000 times better customer service than we got here. I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS...

I take a medication for ADD on a regular basis and moved to the area a little under a year ago. This was the first office I have tried and have been giving it multiple chances but I've reached a breaking point. The front office is a nightmare to work with. While everyone is tryin to be kind, they drag their feet and never return phone calls in a timely manner.
The incident that has caused me the most frustration occurred when I called in and left a message ( you NEVER talk to a real person) for a perception refill on a Thursday. They say thy will get back to you within 48 hours... When I hadn't heard back by Monday morning I called and left a second message... On Tuesday evening, not hearing back and beginning to run out of my medication, I called and pushed the number to make an appointment instead just so I coul talk to a real person. They said that they needed to put me on hold. AFTER 25 MINUTES I hung up. Wednesday I went in person during my lunch break. They then informed me that if I wanted a percription Dr. Ashby needed to see me to check up on things. I made an appointment for Friday during a 2 hour break in my day thinking that should be enough time to take my blood pressure.
I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes then sat in the exam room for over an hour before seeing Dr. Ashby. He was kind as always but took forever trying figure out how to work hi computer and told me I needed to do some tests like urine and blood work which I didn't have time for due to the need to go to work. He wrote me the percription I needed and I left, late for work. That afternoon I took the percription to the pharmacy to be filled and it turns out HE DIDN'T EVEN WRITE IT CORRECTLY! He failed to put the strength on the prescription and so I simply had an illegal percription and no medication! I will NEVER go back there again.

Never updated my info ....so sent my blood work to the wrong address. Was told by the doctor that if my localized pain, blurry vision and dizzy spells didn't end in a couple weeks to call to schedule an MRI. I CALLED 7 TIMES.....STILL NO CALL BACK. I explained in the message....I still had symptoms....and my wife was panicked because she nearly lost her friend to an aneurysm 2 years ago...still no call back. I have NEVER in all my days received such a lack of service...ANYWHERE. The one time I did call and ask if the doctors nurse LISA (the woman who NEVER returned my call) ..was real...all the did was send me to LISA'S VOICE MAIL. I'm like a walking lawsuit waiting to happen because my head still hurts...my vision is still blurry...i'm still dizzy ...and I'm currently looking for a new doctor with a nurse who will answer the phone and return calls. AVOID THIS OFFICE LIKE THE PLAGUE...EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE PLAGUE...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
