General Info: Established in 1962, Air Drive is one of the leading designer and manufacturers of fan blades. The firm specializes in the manufacturing of patented aluminum and steel, axial and radial airflow, and propeller fans. Its customer base includes original equipment manufacturers in the appliance, foodservice, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, refrigerated vending, and portable heating industries. Air Drive s three-wing assembled props are designed for unitary air conditioners, rooftop packaged units, heat pumps, unit heaters, ventilators and exhaust units. The firm also offers four-wing and five-wing fans. Its six-wing design is for high-static pressure evaporation applications. Air Drive's 10-wing fan design is used for motor cooling and heat absorption applications. It also provides hubs in aluminum and nickel plated steel material for securing to motor shafts. The company is headquartered in Gurnee, Ill.
