Ovation Learning Center

I wasn't going to leave a review out of respect for being kind, but then I thought about how LITTLE respect I received when no one called me to let me know that my daughter had gotten urinated on by another child on the playground at this facility. My child has gotten harmed twice in a ONE MONTH period at this facility. If you love your child, DON'T bring them here. The first time my toddler was pushed down on the playground by another kid, and her nose was bloody and bruised. She couldn't take school pictures the next week, let alone perform in a New Orleans parade with her dance team because of her bruised nose. Everyone asked me what happened and looked on in horror when I told she had gotten hurt at preschool. I let that situation slide because kids will be kids, but the last straw came when a young boy held my daughter's head down on the playground and urinated on her from the neck down. I was disgusted and wondered how this could happen if teachers were watching because it takes time to do all of this. I don't know if my child was a victim of bullying and no one cared, etc. but what I do know is that supervision of your child on the playground is not top of the line here. My daughter was at a facility for 2 years before we moved to this area and came home with ONE bruise on her leg from falling down, and she had a band-aid for it. At this facility...my daughter's nose was bloody when I picked her up the first time with no band-aid, etc. Her wound still had sand on it (I have pictures). Yes things do happen at daycare facilities, but there are some facilities better at watching children than others. I am going to tell the truth no matter how nice the previous reviews sound. I'm currently working on a Master's degree, and working constantly, and knowing that my daughter was being harmed put even more stress on my life.

Two of our children have graduated from Ovation and our third is about too. Both of the older ones are all honor roll since the beginning. Ovation has always kept their prices low, even moving when there was no other option then raising tuition. After being with Ovation about 7 years now, I can say that there is no other school like them. In the way that they care. Their supplies are never an issue and this year they even waived you having to buy supplies for 20 dollars. I just hate to see people that do not know these well respected people in our community have false things to say about them. The owner, when there is a problem the owner corrects it right away. Her cell phone is always available by text or call. Sometimes kids are not given a chance to blossom into the program. I work for the state and have many DHS workers spend time in Ovation because they are the first choice with DHS kids. Their new building is different in the way that it is not huge. I cannot imagine what Brandy will be doing to this new location! Their entire team is committed and they cut no corners. I am picky and went through 4 schools before ending up at our prek home. These people are our family. They also have an amazing relationship with the state and come highly recommended. They are now booked with a waiting list in most classes and I have seen the future plans. Get your spot now... It's not just a "childcare" it is a life choice. 6 kids aged out of ovation last year... Stayed until they could not stay anymore, our odeat was one of them. Much love to you guys with all the magical things you do. As a military family your foundation means the world to us. Ovation Learning Center is a wonderful place to help your children grow! I should know, I have two kids that have both attended. I was a stay at home mother for the first couple years, and realized it was time for me to "let go" and let my children get used to new people and other children. The staff at Ovation has worked wonders with my babies, and they are never "covered" in anything, LOL. My children are VERY well taken care of during the day, and I will always put my trust in the loving staff there at Ovation :)

My three children have been going here for about a month, and they love it.The staff is incredible, they let you know whats going on with your child everyday. Which is really good. This is not just a daycare, this is a learning facility.

My kids have been going to OLC for about 2 1/2 years. I was very reluctant about them going to a daycare because I had been at home with them for the first few years of their life. Once I went and looked at OLC and met the staff, all my reservations were gone. It is a very nice facility and the staff is amazing. I'm not sure who loves it more there, me or my kids!!

I recently started college and needed daycare for my 1yr old daughter and I picked Ovation Learning Center and I'm so glad I did! They are awesome! I feel at ease leaving my child knowing she's in the best care in Gulfport!!!

Ovation has allowed my children to grow in all areas of education. They now have three wonderful managers that can not do enough for the parents or children. The owner is always available and has gotten me through many parenting dilemmas. Even when my children started school. Both graduates of OLC the teachers could not believe everything my children knew and had been involved in, the schools here talk about how they can tell a kid from Ovation from their manners and level in all aspects. The teachers are stable and experienced, plus they receive so much support from the management staff. Both Jennifer and Brandy are the top in the preschool circles. They know what they are doing, expect the best. And care. My wife and I will never be able to thank them enough. My children asked when they get too old to go, could they sneak in? I get sad thinking about that day. olc will always be a huge positive part of their lives. They also have sponsored soccer teams, baseball teams and done other things in the community. There is so much to say. Just go here, meet them and you will wonder why you waited so long. this is not a childcare, this is a comfortable school strong in the arts, before the real world comes. And when the real world comes, they are still there for your kids. Thanks to you Ovation, there really is not enough space to say everything I want to say. We love you.
