Orange Grove Urgent Care

Don't waste your time. If I could have given zero stars I would have. They are overpriced and useless. I brought my son in after being jumped by a neighborhood bully. His chest was hurting as it had been stomped on and he was afraid ribs were broken. They made me pay upfront. We talked to the nurse for one minute and were told that although they do have an x-Ray machine (There is a sign advertising they do x-rays), they can't do chest x-rays so we would have to go to the emergency room. That was the extent of the visit. It cost me $140 to find out they don't do chest x rays. The place is a joke.

The front staff was friendly enough. They make you pay before you see the doctor. You can guess why. I went in and paid 130 dollars to be treated with disdain and to have a 90 second conversation with the doctor in which he wouldn't even offer me advice on how to treat my injury. Worst health care experience of my life.

Do not waste your time. They are very unprofessional. Receptionist was playing a game on her phone when I walked in. Had to wait for her to look up at me. There was no one in the lobby. I was the only patient. When i was called back I still waited 20 minutes for the guy who was sitting up front with the receptionist He wasn't even dressed like a doctor. He wore raggedy shoes and wrinkled clothes. He didn't even seem to care why I was there. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!! I wish I could give ZERO stars

Was not asked my medications, had to volunteer the info and the nurse never wrote it down. It's a good thing I read the info on the med I was prescribed because an interaction could have KILLED me! The nurse didn't even know how to check blood pressure properly, putting the cuff on the forearm BELOW the elbow! The doctor was nice, but the lack of procedure might have cost me my life. NOT WORTH IT!

The lady at the counter was nice but when I got to the back the nurse was very rude raising her voice and calling me a worthless human being and I was very upset with this will never go back no matter what the situation is.

Got there 45 min before close and receptionist was huffy and rude. From out of town..nurse practice reeked of cigarettes but could smell we all had no need to tesr...ccharged my deductible instead of copay. Offered script cough meds or murine d...iI chose the day we'll a script is required in Mississippi. Worst service I ever had and I bet it will be a chore to get my money back!

Woke up with a fever of 103 today (a Sunday). On the recommendation of a friend, I popped in and was treated like royalty. It was my first time using a place like this. The visit was fast, aimiable and the meds prescribed were just what I needed. They offered to run a flu test but also told me it would likely not mtter because the meds would be the same. No pressure. The doctor was very kind and thorough...only wish i could read his signture so I could give his name! lol They ran my insurance without any complaint. I will happily return here when my regular doc is closed.

We tried to have an employee treated here but they will not bill your insurance carrier. We tried to authorize but they only will take cash or credit cards. If you want to use insurance might want to use another facility.

Great clinic. Very professional. Staff and physician, Dr. Newell, go out of their way to ensure the needs of the patient are met. Dr. Newell took the time to educate us about the diagnosis and treatment and made sure that we understood. Wait time was also short which was a nice plus. If we need the services of an Urgent Care again, we will use this one. There is one closer to us in Long Beach, but we will drive past that one to go to Orange Grove. You go where you get the best care.

The staff is very nice and quick. I thought our wait time would be hours, but it wasn't and the doctor took his time with my child. I would recommend this clinice to everyone for emergencies.

I had to take my son to the urgent care because he was running a high fever... While we were at Orang Grove the staff was very friendly, very worried about how sick my son was.. They wasted no time getting him into the computer and getting him back to the doctor! Orang Grove is very clean, very organized and very patient friendly... I would recommend ORANGE GROVE URGENT CARE to anyone in my family and also my friends!! :)))

My son was very sick and I took him in to the urgent care in Orange Grove. They were busy and I worried about the wait time, but to my suprise the wait was very short. The doctor took his time with my son and made us feel like we wern't just a number like Garden Park does. I recommend the clinic to anyone who is wanting fast, courteous and professional healthcare and to those who dont want to pay and arm and a leg at the hospital.

The Orange Grove Clinic has a wonderful staff and the doctor is very efficient. Low waiting time and friendly service everytime! I recommend highly for people to visit this clinic!

I took my daughter to Orange Grove Urgent Care today and was shocked by the fronts staffs HORRIBLE attitude. They are very very rude for no reason.

I asked her if she was having a bad day because she was being very abrasive. After dealing with both front desk pains in the - - - we left. I was afriad that the back office might be just as stand offish. First impressions are lasting. Best thing about this walk in clinic are the big jungle animals out front. Garden park offers much quicker...kinder service!!!!!!
