General Info: Dr. Williams, a board-certified cardiologist, earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University and graduated in the top 1 percent of his class. He completed residency training in internal medicine and cardiology at the University of California and completed advanced fellowship training in cardiology at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas. He has been practicing since 1982. Dr. Williams is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. His practice includes direct patient care and consultative services in both the office and hospital. Additionally, he performs a wide variety of cardiac procedures, including trans-esophageal and trans-thoracic echocardiography, stress testing, cardiac computed tomography and vascular ultrasound imaging and intensive-care-unit-related procedures. In his free time Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with his wife, Dale, three grown children and their families. He also enjoys cinema, good books, history, philosophy, music, fishing and traveling.
