What a great place. About 2 weeks to wait time to get into for an appointment. The wait time was about 10 minutes before I got to see a nurse. The doctor took a full 30 minutes. Very thorough. Staff is incredible. I love this place. Great to see up to date equipment in Gridley!

Dr. Takher is great! The office was quite busy. I had to wait a few minutes to get in but that is okay. My VSP insurance was checked and I was able to select my frames. A big selection.

This review is based on my second experience with this location. My first experience was a great wonderful experience with no problems. I do think that this location was bought out by a different company and a different doctor is here now. With that being said I will move on to my review which has nothing to do with the service from the doctor as that was not the nature of my visit. I went in to make an appointment for my child, I was told I needed to give them my child's insurance information which i didn't have at that moment. I had no problem with this. I went home and called them up, I was asked to hold immediately, which again I had no problem with. Eight and a half minutes later I hung up, at this point and decided to go back to the office and take the information to them. At this point I was a little upset. I go in and they say we will be with you in a minute. No problem, I sit and wait and wait and wait. While they answer calls and do other such things. They talk among themselves and I hear one ask, "do we have another patient today?" the other says, "not that I know of", which I knew they were referring to me. If they see someone waiting it is their job to ask if they can help with anything. I go up and tell them you guys said you'd be with me in a minute and nothing, I came in because I called and was on hold for 8 minutes. All I got was a response saying i didn't know you were waiting and that's not good. I did not yell or anything but was highly upset, I did not get an apology. The only reason I went to this place in the first place is because it is the only place in Gridley and it is close and also my previous experience was good. I will be going elsewhere in the future. The abysmal service I received by the receptionists is what drove me to this. They reflect on the business and they reflected poorly. Again I cannot emphasize enough that my review is based on my experience with the receptionists and not the doctor.
