Red's Appliance Repair

- [ ] Used Red's for a issue with my Samsung fridge not cooling, after looking at it he told me it was the Main Circuit board and my total would be $400. A little reluctant to pay that, however I needed my fridge fixed. This was on a WED and was told the part would be in on Fri. Fir comes and he called telling me my part was in however it would be the evening until he could get to me because he was booked. Red also stated it might would have to be Sat until he could get to me. I told him we would have to play it by ear and to let me know. Fri evening comes around and no Red or even a call/text. I call him, NO ANSWER Call him again and text no answer. Sat morning I call twice, No answer. Around 1-2 on sat he finally calls back I told him I would like to cancel my order if he couldn't do what he said why should I trust him with my fridge. A week goes by and I have since talked to Samsung and was asked to send in all of my bills from the work I have done on the fridge, so I call Red and ask for a Recipt for his "Diagnostic" fee he say he will e-mail it. Two weeks later and multiple calls to him and still no receipt. he tells me he has sent it, I have given him two different e-mails and Nothing has ever came through. so I tell him I will be glad to meet him to get a hard copy and he tells me he is to busy and will mail it. Afterwards he tell me he doesn't think he should because i canceled and left him with all of these parts. I highly advise you DO NOT USE REDS appliance HE IS A CROOK . PS I have since bought the board from Samsung for $140 replaced it myself. (only 12 connectors) took me 5min max. and it did not fix my problem... he does not know what he is doing.UPDATE Red messaged me after this review and told me and I quote "I'm done with you u sir. u write a false review. u scammed me and I get a bad review and u stiffed me for the parts. Ur not getting anything from me." I replied "HAHA that will be fine I will get my Money from you one way or another." Make your own decision using him I hope you have better luck.

I wish I had have seen the negative reviews before I called him. He took my money for a service visit and never came back to make the repair. I called him many times and he lied and lied over and over again about coming to make the repair and ordering the parts. He only answers if you call him from a different number. I even emailed him. I couldn't believe he just took my money and kept it moving. I was really disappointed in him.

Red "repaired"our Samsung refrigerator approx six months ago and now its making exact same noise as before. Makes me wonde are their parts that crappy or was it a "remanufactured" part. When I called to explain the same prolem has reoccurred and to schedule an appointment he sent text "I will be in touch soon". 24 hours later I respond "when is soon?" and still no reply. I do not recommend Red's "service" anymore. After spending $340 and he won't bother to get back with me to schedule a follow up visit. I'm not a fan and give a 0 rating but the lowest I can list is a 1. Lesson learned - Never again will I ask Red for service and never again will I buy another expensive Samsung refrigerator.

if I could give 0 stars I would! been waiting for 3 months for ice machine to be fixed and when we call he hangs up on us and refuses to call us back.
