David's Bridal

I made an appointment to try on dresses when I got there I waited about 20 min. for a consultant. When the staff seen that i was getting upset they finally started to help me by getting the dresses that i had already picked out. They I waited about another 5 min. For a consultant to come and help me into the dresses. They she kept leaving to go and help someone else. Finally after she finished up with the other girl all of her attion was on me. But this was only after about an hour of waiting on her to fouce on me!!! I did end up walking out with out a dress because it did not seem like they had all of there stuff together. I think maybe if they were better staffed or more orginized it could have been a better trip for me.

I have been a bridesmaid in several weddings. Four times the brides have chosen to get dresses from David's Bridal. The most recent instance was December 2009 - January 2010, during which time the bride and bridesmaids tried on dresses, ordered, and picked up. The prior three weddings in which I had reason to visit David's, the service was okay. I would not consider it great by any means. However, the most recent visits have been terrible. The sales lady reeked of cigarette smoke, was unable to be found half the time, and was extremely rude to the bride. She insisted she be present when all bridesmaids ordered their dresses (I've never had to do this before) and made us schedule times to do so. I (and other bridesmaids) waited 15-20 minutes on separate occasions to even pickup our dresses. The overall attitude of the store is "I don't care" and "someone else can help you." It's unfortunate that there are so very few options for finding dresses (among other wedding items!) and most people go to David's because there really isn't anything else. I can assure you, however, that I will search far and wide before spending another dime of my money at David's Bridal again.
