Air Quest Heating & Cooling

Our Response to Dian H 12-22-2015. She called our company on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at approximately 7:20 pm. I answered the call and she told me that she just posted a review. She seemed pleasant and I said thanks. She then stated that it was not a good review. I stated that I had rather that she spoke with us about her concern before she posted a negative review and she then told me about her concerns. (see her post). As a business, we deal in contracts and are held to those contracts. I asked her if she had a copy of the contract and she replied that she did not. She mentioned that she had a relative (I believe she stated a son or a son-in-law) who is now working in the HVAV industry, give her an estimate to install an a/c unit and he stated that there was no a/c coil at the furnace. She stated that she contracted with us to install such coil. If we contracted with her to install said coil, we would have fulfilled our obligation. She never provided us with her copy.

I bought a furnace from Air Quest in 2005. I couldn't afford C/A at the time, but I PAID for the coil. Being a Christian, I was fooled by the Bible verse in in the ad the Yellow Pages that year. In 2007 aI had a problem with the furnace (An annual event) and called a repairman in Broad Ripple. He said that the part should be under warranty, but he'd have to charge me $100.00. I called Air Quest the next day. They came out promptly, and charged me $248.00!!! Restocking fee, I was told. The kicker was when the jerk tried to get me to sell a painting that was a gift from my sister. I should've said, "Yeah, for $248.00!"

I was going to get central air this past summer and told my repairman that we had the coil installed already. He informed me that my furnace has no coil! So, Air Quest has ripped me off for more than $550.00. If I were you, I'd definitely go elsewhere! These guys are nothing but thieves!!!!
