        Two strikes and they're gone f...

        Two strikes and they're gone for me. The first time I went to the business, it was fine. The oil was changed in my car and no problems. The second oil change, the manager mentioned I needed a serpentine belt. He quoted the price + labor for me and then charged me $10 more than what he said. He apologized for that error and put a $10 credit on my account. I appreciated that, but on the third oil change, my car started leaking the day after. Of course, being a woman the men looked at me like I was crazy. Believe me, you can't be crazy about a car leaking. I can see that plain as day. The manager said it was the radiator gasket and told me I had to replace the whole radiator for $400. After they topped off the fluid, I left the shop. First off, the car was holding a stable temperature. Secondly, after taking it to another shop, I found out that wasn't the problem at all. A cap had been messed with (I can't speculate, but no one else touched the car) and that was the only problem. You're looking at a $10 charge VS $400. I may not know my own car, according to them, but I sure know which alternative I like better.
