Warning: This scammer has changed its name more than once; according to the BBB, their new name (within the past two months) is "365 Comfort Now". BEWARE!!

Pure and simple, Brandon Fink and IAS are CROOKS, specializing in SCAM. More than a dozen complaints have been filed with Piedmont-area BBB, and they are rated "F". The two who gave positive reviews in June 2014 must be relatives. They are 'known' to Law Enforcement in Cabarrus and Guilford Counties, but I seem to be the only one who's actually made a LE complaint. We need more defrauded customers to do so, in order to get these guys in jail. If you have been defrauded by IAS, phone me at 704-455-5423.

On August 6, they showed up in response to an Amazon voucher. To solve my [musty odor] problem, they recommended installation of two UC-C lamps near the AC condensing coil. I paid them $400 (not something I'd usually do, but I was amazed that they had a viable solution / suggestion), with a final $400 due on completion. Also included was 'sanitizing' the ductwork, both on that day, and again on completion. The day of final installation, August 18, they phoned to report that their supplier had neglected to put the UV units on the IAS truck, and the job would have to be delayed for a week, 'till August 25. By this time, I'd done plenty of research on his UV-C proposal, and found that for my system, only one lamp would be required. He wasn't too happy with this, but agreed to the single lamp installation, for a total price of $600 (rather than $800). On August 25, they neither showed up NOR contacted me.

Since then, after ignoring calls and emails from the Cabarrus Cty sheriff's office, he finally told the Sheriff's detective that since he'd done some work, he was due something. What he did was minimal, and would have been covered by the Amazon voucher. He suggested by email on September 8 that he'd meet me in Charlotte and refund to me $150 of what I paid, or, alternatively ship the UV lamp to me. I told him, "No deals", I wanted a full refund.

Over the next week or so, he asserted that I'd broken the contract by changing the number of lamps to be installed (thus reducing his profit). Somehow, "breaking a contract" doesn't seem to fit in with his failure to show up to complete the job on August 25.

On September 9, he emailed that his time and work were worth $200, so he'd mail me a check for $200. I replied, "No way", he'd broken the contract, did almost nothing not covered by the Amazon voucher, and I wanted a full refund.

Although I have several other ways to get this perp put out of business, on October 27 via emaiI, I offered to not get the Guilford Sheriff involved if he'd send me a check for $271, which I calculated as being a fair amount. This is closer to his $200 offer, than to my $400 demand. I gave him until November first. No response, no check.

The money isn't important to me, but I want to see this crook in an orange jumpsuit. I NEED YOUR HELP, IF YOU'VE BEEN VICTIMIZED. We can do this, and prevent IAS fraud from being perpetrated on more victims.

I will get this crook, but reports to Law Enforcement is the quickest way to shut him down, and put him away.

Horrible service! Paid over $700 to have drain lines unclogged and a UV light to prevent future problems. Was told secondary Line would stop dripping after a few days and it never did. Line was never unclogged. The UV light doesn't work and was installed in the wrong place!! It was supposed to be installed over the coil and it was placed over the blower instead! They took my money and never answer my phone calls. The technician Brandon only answers via text message and hardly does that. Every time he says he can come out to fix what was already paid for he says he is too busy or he makes an excuse not to do it!!! I don't know what to do now that I lost $700 to these people! I have been trying to get this done for well over a month now! I will be contacting the Better business bureau and then a lawyer if they don't fix what i paid for! Hopefully they will read this and know they are wrong and do their job!

I was told my furnace needed to be replaced because the blower was broken. The air conditioner was blowing 45 degree air. They replaced my 5 year old Carrier with a spec level Goodman. The air never cooled and after 11 days they are no longer taking my calls. I am out $2200 dollars and am left with a piece of junk that they put on cinder blocks to hook it up. Do not do business with them.

for Connie H

The same thing happen to me. CALL State Board of Examiners and sign affidavit. They had mine done in my home. AND FILE a complaint with NCDOJ.org Consumer Protection and tell them I filed my on 5 Sept. I am so sorry I couldn't help you before this happen. Almost 100 people have purchased coupons thru Amazon and Living Social etc. I have tried to shut down the sales where I bought mine but I've been told they are looking into it

Exceptional Service

IAS Heating and Air provided me exceptional service.

When I initially called they had several appointments scheduled that day and informed me that they would stop by the next day. Late of the evening I called they stopped by and inspected my air conditioning unit. It required a new fan blade and other parts.

The new fan blade was not in stock with any of their parts providers and it had to be order from the manufacturer and would take 3 to 5 days to arrive which was upsetting as 90+ degree weather was forecasted during this time period. IAS Heating and Air informed me that they could repair my old fan blade and provide a long term warranty on the repair while also reducing their original quoted repair price. I agreed and they had my unit up and running the next day.

I would highly recommend using IAS Heating and Air for you repair and installation services as they provided me me with professional, exceptional and honest services.
