Oak Hills Golf Course

This is a par 72 course located in Robertson County, outside of Nashville. The staff are friendly country folks. The rates are reasonable, we played 36 holes for $30. When we played there was no food available, only sodas, coffee, and snacks.



The layout of the golf course itself has some interesting challenges which made it enjoyable to play, but overall it definitely needs some love. The greens were soggy due to heavy rain (most of the day before and in the morning), nevertheless the timer activated sprinklers gave them an additional soaking, which further worsened their condition. An attentive turf care person could have shut the sprinklers off for the day. There are bare spots on most of the greens and I saw no evidence of any over-seeding or fertilizing, which is an essential task for fall.
