Snow Removal
Redmond Airport Project Featured in Magazine Morrison-Maierle’s work for the Redmond Airport was recently featured in Airport Improvement Magazine’s September 2021 edition. Serving as the engineer of record for the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) in central Oregon, Morrison-Maierle’s team, led by Cory Kesler, helped create a new $14 million storage and operations building for snow removal equipment. Walkways
Central control panels with an integral astronomical time clock provide another method to control exterior lighting between dusk and dawn. Lighting panels in these applications typically have several relays so that exterior lighting can be separated into zones, such as the building’s exterior, parking lot, and walkways.

Insulation
Harmonics can also cause insulation breakdown on motor winding wires. The alternator on a generator is basically an electrical motor that is producing power instead of consuming it. The presence of harmonics in the system will shorten the life of the alternator.
Electrical Work
The existing field had two separate existing electrical services, one on each sideline with no connection between them. Staff operated the lights via a keyed switch on each sideline and had to allow 10-15 minutes for the lights to come to full brightness. All of the stadium lights could not be turned on concurrently because it took time to walk across the field to go from one switch to the other which was located on the opposite side.
