I love that Ashley Alwin is in downtown Grayslake. There are a lot of choices around for salons, but this is the best that I have found. Everyone that works there is professional and really listens to what you want.

When I moved to the area I was looking for a new salon. I stumbled upon Ashley Alwin and couldn't be happier! They are very friendly and welcoming. Shannon is great at listening to what I want and giving wonderful suggestions. I consider this MY salon now:)!

Sara is a master at short hairstyles. She can create a style that moves from professional to punk in seconds. The salon has a great atmosphere and all of the employees add their own spice to the mix. I've been seeing her for the past year, since the salon opened, and I am thrilled to recommend her and her team.

My first time at Ashley Alwin...I was greeted by a friendly staff offered a FREE Beverage while I waited for my appointment. The atmosphere at the salon is comfortable, with a vintage theme. Each station is equipped with vintage hair chairs! If you are a fan of vintage you will not be disappointed. My appointment started promptly on time, with a quick consolation about what I wanted to do with my hair. I found my stylist warm, friendly and talented. Let me say... Prices are high, and I wasn't impressed with the outcome of my haircut. For being a first time client, I wish I received more attention.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley Alwin Salon! I was treating a girlfriend to a pedicure for Christmas and scheduled both of us at the same time. This salon has a lovely, private and relaxing room where two people can get pedicures. We were treated and pampered like royalty. They are also very accomodating, honest and their customer service superb. I highly recommend the experience!
