Can I give ZERO STARS?? Please look elsewhere for your needs. Delays and miscommunication were a frequent headache. Apparently at their business, the customer is always wrong! While the quality of the work is very good, it is a complete nightmare trying to schedule the work. You've been warned.

We are a full service Design/Build company, specializing in Kitchen & Bath Remodels, Home Additions, and Whole House Renovations. As a General Engineering and General Building Contractor, we are uniquely qualified to address any problem that may arise. This is especially important when structural issues present themselves.
New Construction
Phoenix Construction uses a Design/Build process, which in contrast, reduces client risk by providing single-source accountability for architectural, engineering, and construction services. We will address all of the details of your remodel project during the design and drawing phase, so that we can create an accurate estimate of the project cost. By taking care of the details ahead of time, cost overruns, and time delays during the construction phase can be avoided. After the detailed design is complete, and the plans (construction documents) are drawn, we will enter into a "Construction Contract" and acquire the necessary engineering and permits to build the project that we have designed together. A project schedule is set, with start and completion dates, and the construction can begin. There is a significant advantage to having the entire project completed by one entity. We provide our clients with design, structural engineering, project management and construction services, which insures a smooth and seamless transition through each phase, from the first conceptual idea through the project completion.
Demolition
The only time this becomes an issue, is when the client specifically desires an upgrade, change, or addition to the project specifications. Occasionally, a structural defect will present itself after the demolition is started and walls, floors, or ceilings are exposed - This is usually in the form of termites, dry-rot, or a code violation in the original construction of the home. We have specific guidelines in our contract that deals with these conditions. In all cases of a change or addition to a project however, it should be done in writing using a "Change Order" or an "Extra Work Order", which outlines the changes or extra work, the cost, and the terms of payment.

Siding
By Dennis A Dixon); If we build you a building that is 2 ft. by 50 ft., the total square footage will be 100 square ft. You'll have 104 lineal ft. of wall for this 100 sq. ft. building, which has sheetrock, siding, paint, baseboard, etc.. The next building will be 10 ft. by 10 ft., which is still 100 square ft., but now we only have 40 lineal ft. of wall. The cost of the walls in the second building is less than half of the first building. This example notwithstanding, there are other factors such as countertop material, floor covering, and appliances, that determine the final price. The only way to accurately give you a price for a project, is to determine the needs of the client, and develop an estimate.
